Contacts import from Comcast account to Comcast account
Follow these steps to begin importing your contacts from your old Xfinity account to your new Xfinity account.
Note: When using the Import Portal, we advise using either Firefox or Chrome as a web browser. (Internet Explorer is not recommended).
STEP 1. Navigate to the Import Portal.
STEP 2. Select Contacts.
STEP 3. Click the Xfinity button.
STEP 4. In this step you might encounter different situations:
- If you are logged in with a Comcast account in the Xfinity webpage, you will see your account. If this is the account that you want to migrate your contacts from, simply type your password, fill the below captcha and click "Sign in".
- If you are logged in with an Xfinity account in the Xfinity webpage, but that account is the one that you want to migrate your contacts to, click on "Sign in as someone else" on the bottom of the page and fill the fields like if you were not logged in in the Xfinity webpage (step 4.3).
- If you are not logged in with an Xfinity account in the Xfinity webpage, type the email from the Xfinity account you want to migrate your contacts from, fill the captcha and click "Sign in".
STEP 5. Click on "Log in to destination Xfinity account".
STEP 6. Click on "Sign in as someone else" on the bottom of the page and type the email from the Comcast account you want to migrate your contacts to, fill the captcha and click "Sign in".
STEP 7. The transfer should begin automatically. Most contacts imports complete in less than a minute.
STEP 8. Once the contacts transfer completes, the portal will confirm how many contacts were imported into your Xfinity account. You can also select "Go to my Address Book" as the transfer completes in the background.
STEP 9. If you would like to import contacts from another account, you can repeat this process.
