File Import Walkthrough
Follow these steps to begin importing your contacts via a CSV or vCard file to your new Xfinity account.
Note: When using the Import Portal, we advise using either Firefox or Chrome as a web browser. (Internet Explorer is not recommended).
STEP 1. Navigate to the Import Portal.
STEP 2. Select Contacts
STEP 3. Click file from the options available
STEP 4. You can now select your contacts file from your computer
STEP 5. Select " Log in to destination Xfinity account"
STEP 6. You will need to enter your username and password for your new Xfinity account in the authorization window. If you are logged in to your Xfinity account you will skip this step, unless your old account is also an Xfinity account. If that is the case, please click 'Sign in as someone else' at the end of the window and enter the username and password of your new account.
STEP 7. The transfer should begin automatically. Most contacts imports complete in less than a minute.
STEP 8. Once the contacts transfer completes, the portal will confirm how many contacts were imported into your Comcast account. You can also select " Go to my Address Book" as the transfer completes in the background.
STEP 9. If you would like to import contacts from another account, you can repeat this process, beginning with Step 2 above. If you are finished importing contacts, click on "Go to my Address Book"
