Are my emails or contacts stored anywhere during the transfer?

Your emails and contacts are not stored at all during the transfer process. The Import Portal creates a secure, SSL-encrypted bridge between both accounts. Then all emails and/or contacts are transferred directly from the original account to your new Comcast account.
