Can I import contacts from a sub-account or secondary account?

Contacts transfers don’t always work for sub-accounts or secondary users. See the bottom of this page if you’re not sure what a secondary user or sub-account is.

If you’re entering the correct username and password for a secondary account and keep receiving an error message, you can use our instructions on how to transfer your contacts manually using a CSV file.

How do you know if you’re a secondary user or sub-account?
Your main source account holder may be  parent@provider.net, and your spouse or children each have their own email address, with their own login credentials. Each of those emails addresses is a sub-account or secondary user.
