My contacts are missing!
If your contacts import has finished and your contacts did not transfer to your Comcast address book, there are several things we can do to make sure you get them.
- First, make sure all of the contacts from your old provider are in your online webmail address book. If your contacts are stored in an external mail client (Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc.), then you will need to add them to your online address book before beginning the migration. To review your online webmail address book, log into your old email account using following links, and then look the “Address Book” or “Contacts” section of your inbox:
- AOL: https://mail.aol.com/
- AT&T: http://soc.att.com/16iuIa0
- Comcast: https://login.comcast.net/login
- Gmail: https://www.gmail.com
- MSN / Hotmail / Live.com / Outlook.com: https://login.live.com/login.srf
- Verizon: https://webmail.verizon.com/signin/Login.jsp
- Yahoo: https://login.yahoo.com/
- Once you make sure your contacts are in your online webmail address book, visit the Import portal initiate a second import. No contacts that were transferred the first time should be duplicated, as our system is set up to prevent that.
- If your contacts are still missing after a second import, you can contact us and we can run your contacts migration a second time.
- If you’d like a faster solution (as rerunning a migration can take up to two business days), you can manually transfer your contacts from some providers as a CSV file.
