How do I know if my import is running?
Once you go through the steps on the Import Portal
- For email: The transfer should begin automatically. You can return to your inbox, as your import will continue in the background. Emails will begin appearing shortly under a folder named with your old email address (e.g. shuttle_test@aol.com) under the "My folders" list. It may take several hours (sometimes up to 2 days) before your import completes. Once the import is complete you will receive an email notification in your new Comcast mailbox.
- For contacts: The transfer should begin automatically. Most contacts imports complete in less than a minute. Once the import completes, the page will update showing you how many contacts were imported into your Xfinity account.
You can also return to your inbox, if you choose, as the contacts import is completed in the background.
